ABOUT ROBINSON PAVING

Robinson Paving Company was founded in was started by Clarence “Pee Wee” Robinson in 1973 as a specialty contractor doing curbs, gutters and concrete structures. After seeing potential growth in the excavation and utility portion of the industry, the company expanded to its capability to provide turnkey site work and roadway construction.

In 1982 The Southern Asphalt Corporation was established to not only provide Hot Mix Asphalt production and sales to the public as perform resurfacing for Government contracts.

In 1987 Southern was merged in to Robinson Paving Company which now uses the “Southern Asphalt” as a trademark in its commercial paving operations.
